Beef kebabs

Beef kebabs

Pop these babies on a braai or in the oven for a finger-licking meal.

Ingredients

  • 15ml sunflower oil
  • 2 large red onions, sliced
  • 100ml beef stock
  • 50ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 125ml sweet chilli sauce
  • 80ml tomato sauce
  • 500g rump steak, cubed

Instructions

Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onions until soft.

Stir in the beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, sweet chilli sauce and tomato sauce.

Simmer for five minutes. Remove from heat, season to taste and set aside to cool.

Thread the steak cubes onto skewers and place them in a greased roasting pan.

Pour the sauce over the kebabs and bake, uncovered, in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Serve with rice and stir-fried vegetables.
