Blue cheese burgers with sweet potato wedges

Preheat oven to 180ºC. Cut sweet potatoes into wedges, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with cumin seeds and sea salt. Bake for half an hour. Place the mince, breadcrumbs, garlic, ground cumin and seasoning in a bowl and mix together until combined. Shape into 4 patties. Heat a large frying pan, add a little oil and cook patties on both sides until desired.

To serve Place patties on toasted buns, top with cheese, onion, rocket, and tomato jam. Serve with the sweet potato wedges.

  • 600 g beef mince
  • 4 small sweet potatoes olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 Tbs cumin seeds sea salt
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 2 Tbs oil
  • 4 ciabatta or hamburger rolls, toasted
  • 125 g wedge
  • blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 red onion
  • sliced wild rocket tomato jam or sweet chilli sauc
